Low-Level Laser/Light Therapy (LLLT)
Low-Level Laser therapy (LLLT) which is also know commonly as Light Therapy, Cold Laser Therapy or Photobiomodulation Therapy (PBMT), can be used to treat various musculoskeletal conditions. LLLT utilizes red and near-infrared wavelengths, stimulating cellular energy and regeneration. The light waves activate photoreceptors within the cells of the tissue restoring the body’s ability to heal and accelerating the natural healing process.

Our BIOFLEX® Laser System utilizes Red and Near-Infrared light at the optimal, medically proven wavelengths of 660 nm and 840nm, respectively, and can be used for ALL soft tissue injuries! It provides deep saturation of the tissue, providing superior responses to other forms of LLLT laser therapy systems!

Just to name a few, LLLT can also be used for all sports injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff injuries, tennis/golfers’ elbow, plantar fasciitis, degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, sciatica, all back pain, knee injuries and many more conditions! There is a pain free treatment with no known side effects of LLLT, and it is also covered by most health care plans!
The most common conditions treated include but are not limited to:
-
Musculoskeletal Injuries
-
Muscle and ligament strains
-
Tendinopathies
-
Cartilage, muscle, ligament, or tendon partial tears
